Foil Drive
The latest bit of tech to infiltrate the world of foiling and it is THE tool to progress your foiling finesse.
This electric powered bit of kit is designed to work with, and enhance, your favourite foil set up. The innovative design has the battery mounted between the mast plate and the board, fixing in place using the tracks. It is compatible with all foil brands and the majority of boards on the market.
We have demo / rental set ups here at Easyriders, for the FoilDrive MAX and FUSION units, and the Duotone Elcetric assist unit along with a range of trench boards.

We’re delivering sessions to learn how to use a foil drive along with coaching in the method of foiling you’re getting in to.
It’s a great asset to push your foiling that bit further, wether its for downwind, wing, surf and prone. Helping you get through the ‘getting up’ phase quicker to get more practice ‘doing it’.
We will tailor the session to your level and any previous experience with foil assist units. You can expect to cover;
- Unit set up and kit tuning
- Battery efficiency
- The ‘pop-up’
- Pumping technique
Setting some goals/aims for the session and utilising the foil drives best capability.

Looking to hone your techniques and sharpen your foil assist skills in a sociable and encouraging environment?
We run day and weekend coaching courses from our HQ in Dorset, along with week-long clinics abroad in the Canaries and Caribbean.
These sessions are designed to help you get the best out of your foiling and your kit, covering a number of skills dependent on the conditions presented to us.
It’s not essential to own your own foildrive unit, ones can be rented for the courses, but it is required to have had some prior foil-assist experience.

Wether you’re not quite ready to bite the bullet of buying you’re own unit, or you’re wanting to spend a bit of time trying out different set ups, and technique. These packages get you out on the water more often and at a discounted rate!
These packages are for the foil assist unit only for you to use on your own board & foil. If you require a board and foil as well you will need an additional hire card (this covers wingfoiling and foil assist kit set ups)
Requirements;
- must be a beach club member
- must have had a lesson / coaching session on a foil assist unit
*Your Beach Club Membership gets you 10% discount on all shop and lesson products, the package prices listed a before discount.

We have both MAX and FUSION units available, and the rental packages include all the foil drive tools and accessories you need to get set up (universal mast adapter, electric tape, battery grease). 1 battery is included (with charger) and there is an additional upgrade option for a second battery.
Requirements; must be consistently riding up on the foil in your discipline (wing, downwind, surf), and have some knowledge around setting up a foil assist unit
