BKSA LEVEL 1 INSTRUCTOR TRAINING COURSE (ITC)

  • 5 Day course £599

Looking to share the stoke for the sport you love?
This 5 day course will expand & develop your knowledge of kitesurfing both on and off the water.  Running through the BKSA 8 part teaching syllabus, along with introducing you to different teaching methods and psychologies, safety & group management, weather & tidal insights, in depth kit knowledge and more.

Your BKSA Kite instructor qualification is recognised worldwide, the entry requirements for the course are;

  • Valid BKSA memebrship
  • Skill level verified by a valid BKSA instructor; riding upwind in varying conditions, basic jumps, toe-side, back rolls, front rolls
  • First Aid certification
  • RYA Powerboat Level 2
  • 12hrs shadow teaching

BKSA SENIOR INSTRUCTOR COURSE

  • 2 day course £250

The BKSA Senior instructor course is the next step in your kitesurf teaching career.  This course will progress your knowledge and expand your expertise to run a school or centre and widen your teaching ratio’s and on water responsibility.

Minimum requirements to become a senior instructor are;

  • 200hrs as a qualified BKSA Level 1 instructor, teaching in a BKSA recognised school
  • Teaching experience in at least 2 locations
  • Valid first aid, BKSA membership and Powerboat L2

BKSA Advanced Coach Course

  • 1 - 2 Day Course £150

This course is aimed at those looking to progress their career in the kitesurfing industry with coaching at a higher level in a discipline which they are considered to be an expert in.

Wether its freestyle, wave riding, foiling or all of the above.  This course is by application only and candidates must be able to evidence their own skill base to the required level
